Resource Policies

Resource Policies (Back Office > Resource Policies) let you set up limitations for the circulation of your resources.

Use Resource Policies to:

• Define the loan periods
• Assign defined limitations to your resources
• Determine which resource types your various patron types are allowed to check out

When the circulation limits are defined, Check Out Resources in Circulation automatically assigns a loan period (the length of time a patron is allowed to keep an item) based on the patron type of the borrower and the resource type of the item.
