Receive copies sent with barcodes

You can receive textbooks, whether they are part of an existing transfer or not.

To receive copies sent with barcodes

1. Go to the site that you transferred the textbooks to.
2. Select Catalog > Transfer Textbooks > Track sub-tab.
3. In the Incoming Transfers section, find the transfer you want to receive, and then click the view icon.
4. Click Receive. The Receive Copies page opens.
5. If there are any changes you want to make in the Receive Copies page do so, and then click Receive.
   • All to accept the whole shipment, click Receive All. Note that this is the only option on this page that generates a job summary.
   • To accept them one by one, click Show More, then click Receive.

Receive copies regardless of a transfer

School textbooks manager: Destiny allows you to receive textbooks with barcodes whether they are part of an existing transfer or not. Scan their barcodes or upload a barcode file.

If you scan copies that are part of an existing transfer, Destiny follows the normal process to receive the copies.

If the textbooks are not part of an existing transfer, Destiny automatically transfers ownership to your school.
